Program Executed: Wrigley’s Extra Sugar Free Gum “120-Day Get Fit Giveaway”
To support newly launched flavors of Extra Gum, over 20 million packages contained a code to be redeemed on a custom website developed by TPG Rewards. This program was a sweepstakes that awarded a different fitness prize every day for 120 days – from treadmills, to elliptical machines, to bicycles, to gym memberships and everything in between! That is a lot of prizing to procure, store, and fulfill – so TPG solved this issue for the client by rewarding winners with preloaded virtual debit cards that were themed with the fitness prize of the day. Consumers simply used their virtual card reward to shop online for their fitness equipment. Various dollar-values were awarded, with prizes ranging from $20 to $200.
