Mars Wrigley was looking to promote and invigorate consumer adoption of chewing Extra Gum at Walmart. In order to drive trial, sales and velocity, Mars Wrigley implemented a “Try Me Free” offer during the promotional period. Consumers learned about the offer through digital media hosted by Mars Wrigley and in-store POS materials. Consumers were directed to a dedicated microsite where they inputted their name and email address. Consumers were sent their BARCODE BUCK$ digital offer via email that was valid one free package of Extra Slim Pack (from among the designated SKUs), up to $1.00.

JumboSnax ‘Try Me Free’ Walmart Program

Jumbo cereal pieces, perfect for snacking! The cereal brands you know and love, now jumbo-sized and packaged perfectly for snacking anytime, anywhere. Kellogg’s was looking to generate trial and sales around their new JUMBOSnax cereal brands. Due to the high costs of sampling events, Kellogg’s leaned on TPG Rewards to develop an alternative promotion to drive trial at their largest customer nationwide. TPG developed a ‘while supplies last’ sweepstakes promotion to give away thousands of boxes of JUMBOSnax cereal, during the promotional period, by utilizing their digital Barcode Buck$ reward. With the success of these programs, Kellogg’s continues to leverage Barcode Buck$ in their new product innovation marketing plans throughout the year to generate excitement, trial and sales.

ConAgra Birdseye Frozen Vegetables Walmart Program

Conagra Foods was looking to generate awareness and sales around a new promotion that ‘fresh flavor is always in season’, at their largest retail account, on Birds Eye Frozen Vegetables. Conagra leveraged TPG’s digital Barcode Buck$ to incentivize customers, during the promotional period, to stock the freezer and enjoy favorite veggies anytime. For a limited time, while supplies last, customers can receive two digital offers ($0.50 off any one Birds Eye Frozen Vegetables and $1.00 off any two Birds Eye Frozen Vegetables) to try any of their favorite items. Hurry up and stock up to save before time runs out!

P&G Febreze Trade In Program

With the success of a pilot program, Procter & Gamble is rolling this out chainwide at Walmart for a national launch. Utilizing in-store displays and digital media, Procter & Gamble is inviting shoppers to download BARCODE BUCKS™ digital rewards directly onto their mobile phones. After scanning the digital reward at the store checkout, the consumer receives a FREE new Febreze Plug-in Air Freshener (value $2.94) when they trade-in an old Plug-in. This achieves the marketer’s intention to incentivize trial of new product packaging while at the same time encouraging recycling of older used product.

Save on Beautiful Skin! Olay believes in a diverse and inclusive standard of beauty in which every person has the freedom to set their own definition of ‘beauty’ based on personal preferences, not societal expectations or bias. With their dedication on giving consumers quality products, safe ingredients and real results, Olay reached out to TPG to develop a new promotional exclusive at Walmart.

Due to the success of Barcode Buck$, a new digital offer reward from TPG Rewards, we developed a program to provide a $4 Barcode Buck$ discount on participating Olay products which included Olays’ MSC, Retinol, Retinol Max, Collagen, Whips and Regen Whips FM products. With the success of these programs, P&G continues to leverage Barcode Buck$ in their new product innovation marketing plans throughout the year to generate excitement, trial and sales.

Walmart Wellness Barcode Buck$ (Health Screening Service)

Walmart Hosts FREE Health Screening Event via Barcode Buck$ Across the U.S. Walmart is helping customers save money and live better – and healthier lives. The Walmart Mobile Wellness Tour will visit a total of some 150 stores and deliver a total of over 900 event days. Brought to life by its sponsors like Clorox, the tour is a reimagined version of the pre-pandemic Wellness Days Walmart used to host in stores. The purpose is to provide health and wellness education for Walmart customers across the United States, with special focus on underserved communities. Walmart Mobile Wellness strives to have real, personalized health conversations, providing the information, actionable steps and products that help people achieve a higher level of wellness.

The parking lot set-up is built around a branded trailer. Customers who visit the Mobile Wellness Tour and scan the QR code on signage at the event can receive a FREE Health Screening (up to $20 value) via TPG’s digital Barcode Buck$ reward platform starting June 1 through July 4 at Walmart Pharmacies nationwide. The FREE Health Screening covers total cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure and BMI services.

Enfamil New Parent Program

Through influencers, this campaign was targeted to new parents who are interested to try formula for their newborns. The program is intended to educate parents around the nutritional value of formula and raise awareness of Enfamil’s variety of products at Walmart to help parents select the right formula for their child. TPG’s Barcode Buck$ reward program was utilized by Enfamil’s agency which allowed parents to register for a digital offer to try the product in the comfort of their home.
