To help generate additional on-shelf visability, and stimulate sales of Garnier Fructis Style products for men, L’Oreal offered consumers a month’s free video game rentals from GameFly. The brand utilized DRVS to convey the promotion at various chains, including Walgreens, Wakefern, and Rite Aid.
* The offer was announced and supported by in-store POS materials, print ads, and digital media.
* Consumers were required to purchase one package, selected from among eight qualifying Fructis Stylevarieties, then snap a photo of the receipt, and email or text it to a TPG website for validation. Within moments, qualified consumers received a unique code and a direct link to the GameFly website, where they could sign up for a month’s free video game rentals ($22.95 value).
